A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture is a four-year undergraduate program that provides students with a comprehensive understanding of agricultural sciences, technology and management. The curriculum covers core subjects such as agronomy, soil science, horticulture, animal husbandry, agricultural engineering, and agribusiness. Students also gain practical exposure through hands-on fieldwork, laboratory experiments, and training in modern farming techniques. Additionally, the program includes specialized courses in areas like biotechnology, food science, plant breeding, and plant protection, preparing students for diverse career opportunities in agriculture and related industries.

The program emphasizes practical learning through Rural Agricultural Work Experience (RAWE) and industry exposure, allowing students to engage directly with farmers, research institutions, and agribusiness firms. Graduates can pursue careers as agricultural officers, research scientists, agribusiness managers, or entrepreneurs in organic farming and food processing. This degree equips students with the skills and knowledge to address global agricultural challenges and contribute to food security and sustainable farming practices..
